Position Overview:

With a commitment to transforming lives and communities, we are expanding our operations and we´re looking for a dedicated HRIS Specialist to join our dynamic team in Portugal. We have an ambitious plan to implement new ways of working. In this role, you´ll work together with stakeholders in HR and IT at various levels to enhance system performance, provide technical support, and ensure data integrity. You´ll experience a great degree of independence in a flexible and dynamic environment and the role will offer great exposure to Mitrelli globally and within Group HR.

The ideal candidate will possess great analytical skills, attention to detail, and a passion for leveraging technology to improve HR processes.

Key Responsibilities:

As a member of the Human Resources team, your responsibilities will include:

  • Create and distribute a variety of reports from regularly scheduled (monthly, quarterly, etc.) to ad hoc utilizing data in Mitrelli Employee database in required due date as assigned. Interpret data and analyze results using statistical techniques.
  • Carryout various audits by required due date as assigned, reporting any anomalies accordingly.
  • Manage and maintain the HRIS, ensuring data accuracy and system integrity.
  • Collaborate with HR and IT teams to implement, test, and update HRIS functionalities.
  • Develop and generate standard and ad-hoc reports for HR and management.
  • Provide Tier 1 helpdesk support for HR staff and end-users, troubleshooting system issues as needed.
  • Train HR staff and employees on HRIS functionalities and best practices.
  • Locate and define new process improvement opportunities.
  • This position will have additional projects and administrative duties as assigned.
  • Monitor system performance and work with vendors to resolve technical issues.
  • Ensure compliance with data protection regulations and company policies.
  • Continuously evaluate and improve HRIS processes and workflows.
  • Participate in the development and implementation of HRIS-related projects.


Requirements

Education And Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as an HRIS Specialist or similar role.
  • Familiar with standard concepts, practices and procedures within the Human Resources field (including Payroll, Recruiting, Onboarding, Benefits, Performance Management and Training).
  • Proficiency with HRIS systems (experience with Comeet, Hi Bob software is a plus).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Language skills: Portuguese and English is mandatory; French is a plus.
