About The Position
The Application Specialist is a critical member of our national imaging team; this is a field-based, customer-facing role thEspecialista eat primarily explore the full diagnostic capabilities of the diagnostic image solutions provided by Yapama to customers. Our Apps represent the "Face of Yapama" to the customer.
The Application Specialist imaging reports to the Image Business Manager of Yapama.
- The position requires travels to Angola provinces (where the hospitals are located) and travel abroad for training whenever needed.
- Training medical and clinical teams in the use of imaging diagnostic equipment, covering as much as possible part or all of the following group of modalities:
- Magnetic resonance and computer tomography
- X-ray, fluoroscopy, mammography, and ultrasound
- Angiography systems
- Attend training, courses and events related to continued learning and training on imaging equipment, with the mission to bring and deploy the knowledge in the country.
- Organize and deploy online training to users and relevant stakeholders, supported in vendors material, following manufacture guidance and instructions.
- Customers/users visits, public and private customers, from clinics to hospitals and active attendance to relevant imaging events with, among other, objective of leads capture and scientific promotion of distributed imaging equipment’s and solutions.
- Technical support for consulting sales in imaging, working together and supporting sales.
- Be accessible to customers for after-sales support in the applications of our solutions.
Requirements
- Radiographer academic background (Radiologist MD, Medical Physicist and/or Biomedical graduation can also be considered).
- Previous practical experience operating similar modalities (as many as possible)
- Practical experience in all or part of the imaging modalities (as user).
- Good teaching and presentation skills.
- Advanced English.
- Excellent communication skills
- Availability for frequent travel - national level service as international (when needed)
- Pro Activity, initiative, and ability to carry out work autonomously.
- Versatility, flexibility, and ability to learn quickly.
- Previous experience in training how to use diagnostic imaging equipment.
- Ideally with previous experience in Ultrasound operation.
- Experience with Philips equipment.
- Experience with GE and/or Siemens imaging equipment.
- Previous experience in a hospital and imaging environment.
